Cover for the book " Sull'orlo del vespro" by my lovely friend Amy!

"The regular and boring lives of Cristopher Lancaster and his friend Edward is completely messed up when Cris's past and present garbled up. Because of a curse, that forces him to live during the night and to hide during the daytime, Cris spends his existence hiding the evidence of his true identity chasing witches and creatures of all kinds.

Among unexpected and embarrassing situations, half truths and ancient legends, our protagonist will face his greatest fear in order to break the curse and protect the people that he loves."

First off, I love the colors and they way they gently blend into each other. I also really like how you have the light reflecting on parts of the cat and then others sort of in shadow. I think that is very effective. The eyes are very attention-grabbing; you can see right away that the cat is looking at the flower. Now, the flower looks a bit weird to me, but that could be because I have no idea what kind it is in this art. The pieces weaving off it kind of look like it is trying to reach out to the cat -- I have no idea if that is supposed to be what is going on, or if it is supposed to be like the flower is beckoning the cat to reach out and see more in the world. Does that make sense? Still, I think the detail is very nice and it will make a very nice cover for a children's book. How awesome for you!
